Sydney Fish Market

A Mediterranean escape in Sydney. Seafood, charcoal and the waterfront.

About Hamsi Taverna

Turkish coastal seafood culture meets Sydney Fish Market.

Named after Türkiye’s Black Sea anchovy, Hamsi brings the spirit of Turkey’s seaside taverns to the new Sydney Fish Market. Fresh Australian seafood meets the charcoal grill, with a menu made for sharing and plenty of Turkish flavours along the way.

Set right on the water with views across Anzac Bridge and Blackwattle Bay, Hamsi is made for long lunches, seafood feasts and afternoons that roll into sunset drinks.

Come for oysters, meze and a glass of wine or cocktails, stay for the charcoal grill, and another round for the table.
